Gandolf, is there any way to make those tables a little more pleasing? They are a bit crushed everywhere.

Would it be possible to add some explanation for the new one-minute polling stuff? I haven't seen any documentation anywhere for it, and wouldn't mind giving it a try.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Surely. But this will turn out to be complicated. And personally, I'm afraid, that a documentation would turn less experienced users into using stuff they don't understand. And there are some drawbacks, especially when it comes to using 1 min polling with already existing rrd files. It will require a lot of tweaking around and fiddling with rrdtool command line tools.
Only for new setups, a quite straightforward walkthrough is possible.

Sure. I understand that. I can see why a howto-style document would be difficult or even dangerous, but I don't see *any* documentation.
In the data sources list, it has a poller interval per data source, but I don't see where that comes from.
In the poller settings there are two settings for poller and cron interval - what's the relationship between them? If the poller interval is 1 minute and the cron interval is 5 minutes, what happens?
Obviously the rrd tuning side of things is a complex issue, but having at least a little explanation of the poller settings would be helpful.
I have a new install for a specific customer to try all this stuff out on, but it would be easier if one knew how it was supposed to happen.
