.pl errors in Win32...wperl...

I just responded to Lux on a post below that removing Devices|Localhost and Data Sources|Linux and Unix from the initial installation cleans up the file open errors seen in the command window on Windows.

Maybe this could be added to the Win32 specific section of the FAQ.

Also, is it possible to change the perl command ???in cmd.php ??? to wperl so the command windows doesn't pop up everytime cacti does it's thing? If so, this could be added to the FAQ too.

you can prevent the cmd.php window from popping up every 5 minutes by making a shortcut to cmd.php and scheduling this shortcut as task. Within the properties of the shortcut you can chose to 'run in minimised window'

There is also a nice little program called hidden ( download at http://www.savardsoftware.com/hidden/ ). Using this there are no visible signs that Cacti is collecting statistics, unless you look at the CPU utilization.
