Genaral question - thold

Hallo Catiusers,
i have a general question. i'am using cacti for about 6 month in our company. we are still using cacti 0.8.6j + thold 3.4 + syslog-plugin
Everything works fine.
Now i want to set up a second, redundant cacti-server.
Both server should collect data with snmp and both should receive syslog messages.

ok, here is my question. how can is set up the cacti-servers as "primary" and "secondary" -server. if a threshold went above its value i don't want to get 2 ALERT-messages. is there a way to get just one email?!
