I could not progress further and I am off for a few days.
As soon as I am back I'll work on this again and will most surely up this thread.

Hi rony,

nearly a year has passed during which I hardly found time to get back to this. But I recently did and this time went all the way. I think I stopped at 99% of the job last time. Everything works, looks like it at least.

ps : I may come back w/ questions on operating cacti instead on installing cacti, now :wink:
