[SOLVED] Weathermap Background

Post by packet7 »

Hello,

Anyone come across an issue with using Weathermap Backgrounds via the Editor.php? If I specify the BACKGROUND in the text file using vi, it works fine. However, when I apply the background file via the GUI Editor it returns a blank page (all white). I have tried some of the BR's that were packaged as well as one a created myself (.png + jpg).

Thanks.

Rgds,

If you mean completely white with no nodes or links showing, then you might want to increase your memory_limit in php.ini.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.

Hi,

I doubled it to 64MB, now I'm unable to open my map using the editor (see below). However, I do see the map from the Weathermap tab and it appears to be working. Do I need to bounce the Web Server? If so, how?

Thank you!

Yes, you would need to restart the web server for the change to take effect.

How you do that is a whole other question. It depends on what it is, what OS etc.

For IIS, restart the Web Publishing Service.
For most apache installs, apachectl restart will do it.

Hi,

I use Apache with Linux. That did the trick. Thank you!
