monitor remote linux servers from one machine

Post by pooranjaiswal »

hi can anyone help me in monitoring remote machines in the cacti. i have installed the net-snmp on all the servers and its is running fine.

then i went to cacti server and configured the remote machines ip address in the cacti control panel, but it is not graphing anything from remote computers,

i tried running the poller.php file manually and found that its trying to capture all the data. but i think there is some configuration need in snmp on all the server. cacti server and remoter servers.

which i tried doing that but could not got anything..
(ref:http://www.playingwithwire.com/2007/06/ ... ith-cacti/)

can anyone help me out the remote monitoring and snmp configuring for cacti..

Thanks in advance
