Wrong values for large bandwidth

Post by haq »

Hi,
I have a cacti which is working fine for the bandwidth less than 100MB. But it is giving me wrong values for the interfaces and the routers which have more than 100MB (300MB).

CDEF is cdef=CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,300,*

What changes I need to make to get the perfect graph with accurate values

Thanks

Are you using snmpv2 and 64bit graph templates?

I am using snmp 1 and the template is without 64 bits i.e., in/out bits

Thanks

You will need 64 bit counters and SNMP V2 for this, beacuse you will encounter COUNTER wraps either.
Or reduce polling interval to e.g. 60 seconds to avoid wraps
