manage host are empty!

Post by zorrosam »

Hi all,

i have installed plugin manage in my cacti.
I have added 600 hosts with phpmyadmin in the table of cacti and selected manage them.
All the hosts are correctly selected even if there's no uptime under the menu, the uptime for all is 0.0.0
Furthermore when i click on manage tab, there are no host monitored.

any idea?

I don't even know where to begin. You should first learn how to add devices to Cacti. Manage is supported by Gilles. Good luck.

You will need to make sure that they are assigned to the proper sites, and server types etc. I don't know how you would do that via phpMyAdmin, but you can easily do it via the gui that Giles created.

i know the way for add devices on cacti ... my friends .... :-)

with phpmyadmin is more easy beacuse the devices were 600 ....

and in the correct table i selected the corerect value for manage the host.

......i see the host in devices of cacti, i see the host in devices under manage ... but i can't see the hosts managed under the tab ... is more clear?
