Duplicate Data Input Methods and Graphs

Post by wdominik »

Hi,

I have one webserver with several pages (about 150) which I would like to monitor.

I have created 1 template succesfully (+ graph and data template) and want to use this as reference model if possible.

Is there any possibility to duplicate templates per script (php or bash)?
Any hints (links etc) are greatly appreciated. I didnt succed in copying graphs via die UI duplicate option.

I'm not aware of such a script. But to be honest, I do not yet understand why you are mass-copying templates? Please have a read at the first link of my signature (e.g. Script Data Query) and elaborate your goal in more detail

Hi,

many thanks for feedback Gandalf, I have read all your docs but didnt find a solution for my issue.

Perhaps I missunderstand the concept of the "Data Input Methods". Please let describe my issue briefly:

I have just 1 host. This is a webserver. I´d like to monitor several runtimeresults of several pages per bashscript.

Those results are e.g.:
bash> ./summery.sh ticketsite
requests: 10 0499ms:8 500999ms:2
bash> ./summary.sh postsite
requests: 15 0499ms:2 500999ms:13
....

Now I have for every page 1 Data input Method. My goal is to get 1 methods for 100 pages, also 1 data templates and so on.

Thx in advance and regards. Sry for my humble explanations.

This is clearly an issue for a Script Data Query. The "index" in this context will be the parameter you're handing over to your current shell script.
This will yield
- one Script Data Query (weel, this will take a bit of your time as it is your first one)
- a SINGLE Data Template
- a SINGLE Graph Template
==>> a lot of fun!
