Something to consider, on our 75xx VIPs the CPU utilization was normally 99% due to Rx buffering and distributed traffic shaping. Instead we're using a simple graph template that works for all our IOS devices. It only monitors the first RSP, but our second RSP never gets used anyways.

Sorry for bumping - does anyone has a template/script to check VIPs CPUs on 7500 ?

i need it badly :)

I am not good in creating templates: I am getting such info after snmpwalk:

MIB: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5

Code: Select all

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.1 = Gauge32: 0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.2 = Gauge32: 0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.3 = Gauge32: 43
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.4 = Gauge32: 49
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.5 = Gauge32: 24
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.6 = Gauge32: 0
could you show me how to create template for such answer and create its answer on one graph ?
