Alerting Dead Host Templates

I have setup to have notifications when a host goes down and when a host comes up. However, I would like to have both the description of the device and the hostname sent in the email. Currently I get:

Host Notice: <hostname> returned from DOWN state

I would like to see something like:

Host Notice: <Description> (<Hostname>) returned from DOWN state

Is there anyway to modify this? Thanks in advance
