Post by looc »

i want to use thold plugin in my cacti system.
download thold 0.3.5.2 and expand to www\plugins(www is my cacti root folder) and config inculde/config.php to istall thold.
that's OK~
when i put top "threshld' icon,it said" You are missing a dependency for thold, please install the 'Settings' plugin."
i can config a thold templates,but could not create 'Auto-create thresholds' graph,
What is the reason?

You are missing a dependency for thold, please install the 'Settings' plugin.
What part of this confused you?

I would just install the settings plugin and than reinstall the 0.3.5.2 thold. There are a lot of fixes. It would seem that for thold 0.3.5.2 you need to have the setting plugin installed and listed before thold in your config.php or global.php. I would put it on top of all plugins in the config. It should work just fine after that.

Install the settings plugin just like you installed the thold plugin....exactly the same.

So...I've done this..and when I use go to Cacti via browser...I see the buttons "Console" and "Graphs" at top...but everything else is grey'd out. When I click on Console or Graphs nothing happens.

from config.php

$plugins = array ();
$plugins[] = 'settings';
$plugins[] = 'thold';

With these plugin's enabled...located in
/cacti/plugins/settings
/cacti/plugins/thold

It doesn't work. See description above.
When I disable the thold plugin

//$plugins[] = 'thold';

Everything works again. I confirmed my thold directory name is thold.

Any ideas?

After installing the Settings plugin, I get this at the top of my browser (above the tabs):

Warning: include_once(C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/cacti/plugins/settings/include/functions.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\plugins\settings\setup.php on line 45

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/cacti/plugins/settings/include/functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\plugins\settings\setup.php on line 45
