Feature Request: Login Options...

Post by twelzy »

Hi everybody!

Cacti has 3 options for Login Options (What to do when this user logs in.):
  • - Show the page that user pointed their browser to.
    - Show the default console screen.
    - Show the default graph screen.
I think that would be great if there is an aditional option that opens the default page of a plugin that is installed!

Thanks in advance!

Shouldn't be hard to add a hook for this. I will put it on my list.

No Login for view only, login for admin

I was looking for a mix of both where when a user goes to "http://cacti" internally to our LAN will just get the graphs from a profile that we Admins set up. Like a quick stats of key systems and items. But the Admins that manage cacti would use the credentials portion.

Can that be done now with some tweak? Or is this a feature request for the future?

(The idea is I am moving from an MRTG environment and want to support the no hassle look to management.)

That would probably be better if done by exporting the graphs.
