I haven't tested php 5.2.4 yet.

What upgrade method did you use?
What OS, webserver, etc?
You stopped the web server before upgrading, right?

OS: Server 2003
Install Method: beta windows installer
Webserver: IIS

I stoped the defaul website. ran the setup for 5.2.4 (since it looks like that replaced 5.2.3)

I am now attempting to uninstall php. reinstall and follow your setup guide using 5.2.4 unless you know where i can still download 5.2.3 to fix the access violation errors.

All php downloads are on their website: http://www.php.net/releases/. While their installer should be fine, I typically go with the zip file since then I know exactly what is going on.

Well after a bit of fighting... mainly because I had no idea what I was doing since I use the installer. I went back to your install doc. It just wiped out some settings in the php.ini. I updated that and fired up iis.

5.2.4 seems to be working fine.

FYI - PHP 5.2.4 is working fine on FreeBSD UNIX without any Cacti problems so far...
Thank you,

Ernie
