After installing cacti in fedora core 5

Hi,

I need small help,would anybody help out?

After installing cacti on fedora core 5.When i browse through I i get an error.below is the error i am getting ..

Error

You have created a new database, but have not yet imported the 'cacti.sql' file. At the command line, execute the following to continue:


mysql -u cactiuser -p cacti < cacti.sql

This error may also be generated if the cacti database user does not have correct permissions on the cacti database. Please ensure that the cacti database user has the ability to SELECT, INSERT, DELETE, UPDATE, CREATE, ALTER, DROP, INDEX on the cacti database.


Any answer for this error.

Did you run the statement givven by the error message during installation of cacti? It is required to install and fill the basic table structures used by cacti

Hey Thanks for your reply i used that sql command during installtion but still throws same error...

Is php-mysql installed and mysql configured? Did you configure ./include/config.php?

I followed all the steps given in cacti/documentation site for linux.
I installed fedora core5 with full packages.Also mysql is confiured as per the steps given in site.
I didnt do ./include/config.php
