In reference to my post, I would like to request a feature for Cacti to be able to delay graphing in sync with the time stamp retrieved from the data source. To clarify, please consider the following example:
I have a data source containing data that is always 15 minutes late, which means every time I query the data source, the newest result set is always from 15 minutes now. It would be great to have Cacti fetch the result, but don't produce graph until 15 minutes later, in effect syncing with the data's time stamp.
Hope that's not too confusing.

So.....
I want to know how you are getting data from the future.... I want to be a billionaire!!!
No, seriously, why do you consider the data to be 15 minutes into the future?

I think you misunderstood my example. I meant the data source only contains data up to 15 minutes ago. Say right now is 1:15pm and I query the db for latest data, it will return rows with time stamp at 1:00pm.rony wrote:So.....
