Graph Tree inside a frame.

Post by Cacti Jack »

It would be nice if the Graph Tree were inside a frame so when you scroll down a list of very long graphs, it doesn't cause your graph tree to go out of view; this would make navigating the pages quicker.

While I realize frames are not popular; if there is a way to get a 'floating' graph tree menu so it doesn't scroll down with the graph list; it would be nice.

The concept of a floating DIV for the tree has been bounced around within the Cacti Group.

In one fashion or another, something close to what you have suggested will be implemented (eventually :) )

In any case, I would be happy about sth like this to create kind of a "Dashboard" plugin featuring an overview of several chunks of different plugins like THOLD, REPORTIT, the native tree and the like
Or perhaps I need a refresh on web coding?

Theoretically, once everything is broken into DIVs, it would be simple enough to extend it to allow for a 'dashboard' type view for plugins, etc.
