Hey,
Installed cacti 0.8.6k-beta2 - but cacti says, [ERROR: File not found] to all binarys. But the files ARE THERE!
System is SuSE10.1 with PLESK8.2 - the vhost has safemode=off.
The SNMP agent works great (tested it with the tutorial available here in forums)
What is the error? And better: how can I fix it?
Would be great to hear from you soon!

Re: File not found
Where are you seeing "ERROR: File not found" ? in the logs? in the install process where it trys to locate each program, etc.General1 wrote:Hey,

and now in the settings page in cacti there is the error-line under each box to fill the path in.
Re: File not found
You are supplying the absolute path to the files there, right?General1 wrote:First within the install progress - BUT there was also a green [found] in front of each line. so i clicked continue.rcaston wrote:Where are you seeing "ERROR: File not found" ? in the logs? in the install process where it trys to locate each program, etc.General1 wrote:Hey,

OK then... Without knowing the ins and outs of the program, I would try changing the paths to something you know won't work. Save the changes, then change them back to the correct paths.
If you still have the problem, I would delete the cacti database, be sure all the prerequisites are met and then reinstall. Assuming you don't have any data sources yet, this should save you time and aggrivation.
