Dead Host Notifications Re-Alerting Possible in Cacti?

Hello,
There are some Internet hosts that I only monitor with advanced ping. When they are down, I receive a dead host notification but no re-alerts. Is it possible for me to set Cacti/THOLD so I will be re-alerted when they are down? The default re-alert settings don't seem to be followed by dead host notifications.
