Both of you make sure Script Engine is checked for the .php application configuration in IIS (read post-install.html).

As stated in the first post of this thread, PHP 5.2.1 has issues and users should upgrade to PHP 5.2.3.chrispel wrote:PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 0101AE66

Ok I upgraded and when I do a debug I get the below error message. I check the file path and there is only .placeholder in that folder. So I guess the information isn't being placed in the folder or created.
ERROR: opening 'C:/Inetpub/wwwroot/cacti/rra/ny_3750_switch_stack_5min_cpu_13.rrd': No such file or directory

Have you followed this yet? http://docs.cacti.net/node/283

But when I point my internet browser to c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/cacti/index.php there are no graphic interface, instead it show me a page of html codes. When I tried to get into the pages to create new device, it show me whole page of html codes.
Can any kind soul advice me on this?

Sounds like the installer didnt get all the PHP stuff registered correctly with IIS. read the installation guide in my signature related to PHP and IIS sections.
