HD totals not going to rrd files

When i go into edit the device "action=edit&id=7" is the last string in the address. I'm monitoring a lot of stuff on that device including...
HD totals
CPU usage
2 APC units
Network card bandwith statistics

All of them work except for the HD totals.

The other two devices i'm having the same problem with are also monitoring the same stuff excluding the apc units

I found this and was wondering if this same issue could be the cause of my problems. I didn't notice a fix for the current version of cacti but i did notice it would be fixed in the next version. Is there a fix for the current version?
