If I edit a data template or a graph template it disappears

Post by noxis »

If I edit a data template or a graph template it has a 90% chance of disappearing or creating a duplicate with the new data and the old one damaged or corrupted.

Its like the interface and graph is getting confused or something is out of sync as the graphs can continue working if they are already created.

Anyone else seen this? Is there a tool about to test the integrity of my cacti database?

Version: 0.8.6j
OS: Linux

Thanks

There's a known issue with "duplicating" a Data Template. Do you use this bit?

Ah yes each was created by duplicating the SNMP Generic... as per the guide on this site.

Sorry, but this error was only found recently. It will be fixed with upcoming 0.8.6k, I suppose. In the meantime, you will have to work it out manually
