Hello,
We have a customer that uses multiple ports on our switch. We would like to sum the port traffic for this customer and present it in a graph for 95th percentile.
Basically this:
Ports A In Traffic + B In Traffic = X In Traffic
Ports A Out Traffic + B Out Traffic = X Out Traffic
Then do the 95th Percentile Calculations. Getting the 95th Perc. really isn't an issue, just is it possible to calculate the port traffic and graph it as summed above? If so, can someone point me to instructions on how to do this?
I've seen a couple of posts on the forum where it looks as if the person is trying to do the samething, but wasn't really clear to me on how to accomplish the task.
Thanks!

Um...
I was just thinking about this...
The only effective way to pull this off currently is to have a separate graph for In traffic and Out traffic and use the "aggregate" Nth Percentile graph variable.
If would kindly submit a feature request ( http://bugs.cacti.net ) for an "aggregate_defined". This additional graph_variable would allow for the selection of traffic_in only items to be aggregated together for Nth Percentile calculations. This is the only type that is currently missing from the aggregate family for Nth percentile.
If it's not to much work, you might see this in 0.8.6k release.
