Port Problem when Graphing Blade 10

Post by caveman »

Hi all,
Having an issue when I graph blade 10 of a Nortel 8600 switch. Blades 1-9 work fine but when i get to the 10th blade it seems to always want to graph only one the first digit of the port number.

Example...
If I graph port 10/25 it will graph 10/2 or if i graph 10/42 it will graph 10/4.

It's like it only has a certain string length for port# so it stops after 4 values.

So it sees blade 10 fine but when i go to graph the port it only takes the first value...anything past 10...10's turn into 1 and 20's turn into 2...etc.

If i do an snmpwalk it comes up with the right values and port #'s. This is also true if i do a verbose query inside cacti, the ports are labeled and number correctly, it only happens when i create the actual graph.

This happens on all our 8600's and with both cacti version I and J.
We run it on Red Hat Linux Enterprise, as well as Fedora core 4/5.

Wondering if anyone knows of a fix for this or if anyone is experiencing the same problem.

Thanks!

Please see "Settings->Visual->Maximum Field Length" and increase it.
