configuring php to support snmp

Post by ne0phyte »

Hi,

In order to get a script working i need to configure php to support snmp.

I got it compiling by using the '--with-snmp' option. info.php gives this:

NET-SNMP Support enabled
NET-SNMP Version 5.1.2

ever since i did that, i cannot seem to use poller.php anymore. It doesn't poll, just gives this output all the time:

Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.
Waiting on 1/1 pollers.

untill it reaches the max execution time and stops.

cacti.log shows this:

07/13/2007 12:40:04 AM - PHPSVR: Poller[0] PHP Script Server has Started - Parent is cmd
07/13/2007 12:40:04 AM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] PHP Script Server Started Properly
07/13/2007 12:40:04 AM - PHPSVR: Poller[0] ERROR: Input Expected, Script Server Terminating

If i recompile php without snmp support it polls again.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
