Transporter plugin released (0.1)

Post by johnrembo »

Hello everybody,

i have created a small plugin which transports poller results to remote tcp socket by adding some aditional info

output form looks like the following:
timestamp group unique_name_for_each_data_output_field output_field_value data_output_field_name host_name host_description data_template_name host_template_name

and real output looks like this:
1181653563 group load_1min - a-Localhost - 127.0.0.1 - Local Linux Machine - Unix - Load Averag 4.69 category=load_1min ip=127.0.0.1 hostname=a-Localhost datatype=Unix - Load Average hosttype=Local Linux Machine
it's configuration screen:

I suppose you won't find it difficult to adopt output settings for your needs.

emm...what you want to see? tcpdump output of remote host?
it is not kind of plugin like "monitor" with red/green icons on separate tab - this plugin works in background.

So now it is possible to export the poller data from a remote machine and put that in a different cacti?
How do you set the new hosts?
