logarithmic y-axis scaling

Post by juepi »

It would be great if you could add a checkbox for the -o parameter for rrdtool in the graph-configuration window. i often have the problem, that the traffic-analysis graphs have quite high "bursts", i.e. from the backup, logarithmic scaling would be great for this.
Or is there already a possibility to add this feature per-graph?

I actually never knew such an option existed, but I can see why it would be very useful. I will look into adding this to cacti on a per-graph basis if it proves to be useful.

thx a lot, may be it would be easier for you to add an "additional rrdtool parameters" field into the graph properties, so you would't have to change the code for every useful parameter ;)
