Graph tree disappeared

Post by silversurfer12 »

Hello,

at first,I'm a cacti newbie and maybe I configured anything wrong!

In the past we use MRTG to graph the traffic of our routers!

Now I have setup a test server with cacti because in my opinion, cacti
is easier to manage and easier to configure new graphs!

I have one problem -> I add all our existing routers and some other nodes(about 250 nodes) ...but I only add the devices with the correct data,no
snmp connection is currently possible because there is on all routers an
access list active which allows only snmp connections from the ip address of
the MRTG machine(is still in use,I will switch to cacti when all devices added on cacti)
All devices are successfully applied, then I configured the graph tree and
....I'm not sure,but I think if I configured the 11th leaf,all leafs disappeared!
Only the root item is visible.
All devices in Managment -> Devices still available.

Is there any known bug, configuration, limitation or maybe I do anything wrong....any ideas??
If I go to Management -> graph tree and choose the tree root that I have
configured before,I can see my tree structure under Parent item if I add a new leaf, but under graphs only the root item is visible!

I use cacti 0.8.6j-fc5,Mysql 5.0.26-12,rrd 1.2.15-25 on openSuse 10.2

thanks in advance
