Interface Status notification

Hi,

Can anyone help me how to configure my Cacti to notify me when an interface changes status not just the Host itself?

I already got the Thold plugin but it only notify when a host is down.

Also can Cacti monitor an IP phone like 7940G or 7960G? How?

I assume you have the threshold plugin installed?

Thold can only alert on what you are currently graphing. If you want it to alert on status change, then you need to create a graph for monitoring status change, and then thold can alert on it.

If you have threshold plugin installed in your system then, i think you have to refer to your dealer and try to setup your ip phone like 7940G or 7960G...
