/usr/local/cacti/poller.php does not return any output

/usr/local/cacti/poller.php does not return any output

I have followed the how-to install Cacti on Linux but I do not get any out where I access http://localhost/cacti/.I have tried to run this script from the cli :/usr/bin/php /usr/local/cacti/poller.php and it does not return any output.Is there something that I am not doing right.Please assist.

plz change the poller from cmd to cactid (in Cacti GUI) and test again.

Yesterday i had the same problem. After the change all worked fine. :D

Don;t know if it is the same problem - but please see my post regarding simular issues:

It could be to do with php version problem - what php version do you have - php version on command line and on apache.
