"Patchy" graphs?

Post by aventureben »

All of our cacti graphs are starting to go 'patchy' (see attached). It's not just one device in particular thats the problem, they all do it. Some seem to be worse than the others. I upgraded the software to 0.8.6j last week, and this is roughly when it started.

Does anyone have any suggestions? If you need any more details, just ask

When I had this problem, turning up the SNMP timeout from 500ms to 1500ms solved it.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

You may want to check the second link of my signature, especially the double poller issue
