I was curious, before i start inventing a wheel, if anyone out there has a template for monitoring an Infoblox appliance. They run BIND and ISC DHCPD so I might be able to use current templates, but haven't tried yet.
We got a couple to eval and wanted to see if i could quickly get some graphs.

It is SNMP enabled, but they don't use SNMP themselves.
If the infoblox machines get very busy first thing they drop is SNMP leaving holes in graphs.
Liu has MIBs where you can extract the OID's necessary to make manual graphs, but I have to tell you, its a long and messy work to get something out of them.
And that slow-poke java environment isn't usefull either
Traffic graphs are no problem, its the important things that are too difficult, like graphing DHCP pools, DNS queries...
I also found out the ID grid master is too busy playing with its slaves to answer many snmp queries.
