Graph or data template?

Post by InferiorWang »

I downloaded a NetWare data template from this site. I imported it into cacti. I want to add it to the standard NetWare 4/5 host template. To do that, I need a graph template. How can I turn that data template into a graph template?

Perhaps I'm being a bit thick headed here, but I'd appreciate suggestions or slaps on the back of my head.

Got it. I've got the NetWare Volume data template graphing for volume information. My issue is, it's coming up all NaN. Following your NaN debug page and checking into the data template, it seems the OID is blank. I'm guessing this is the issue.

Any ideas how I might determine the needed OID?

I don't have any knowledge of netware. So let's hope that others drop in

There is a Novell TID out there, but it's relegated to managewise/zenworks stuff. I'll go bug the Novell forums and get back to this thread if I get an answer.

But just so I'm on the right track, the missing OID is a problem, correct?

In general, an SNMP Data Template without OID never will work. To be sure, please post a screenshot of that template (so I can compare it to my default ones) and a snippet from the Utilities -> Poller Cache for any netware device you've applied this template to
