Hi,
I have been having some major problems in getting cacti running
Right firstly I tried following the install guide for Windows. First problem we had was a nice error in PHP console about the missing mibs. Just went back to get the error to paste in here and sods law its dissappeared and seems to be working ok now.
Next problem I had was files wasnt being created in the rra folder. The permissions are correct and Ive tried running filemon.exe thingy from system internals and the only errors I get from when I poll via cmd is the fact that the file .rrd file isnt there to poll correctly.. No errors about unable to access due to permissions etc.
Now sometimes I am lucky and it does create a rrd file. Great! but when I run the poller it seems it doesnt always get data. Again no errors in console or log file which direct it to why it doesnt get the data or update the rrd file correctly. Attached in an example of my graphs where you can see that its only getting the data at very random intervals. I get this problem weither i run the poller via command line or on a scheduled task.
I have tried installing and reinstalling via two guides I found via these forums as well as using the automated installer pinned in this forum to give me the same problems/results.

1) php 5.2.1 has issues, upgrade to 5.2.3.
2) Do all graphs have gaps or just that one?
3) What poller are you using? (cmd.php or cactid).

1) Have just upgraded but doesnt look like it made a difference.
2) Running two graphs at the minute because I keep adding and deleteing them because Ive done something wrong but both the same problem.
3) CMD.php as heard cactid was rather fickle on Windows and should get CMD working first
Thanks for the help so far.

Alright, turn the logging level to medium for a while and watch what data is returned. If there are gaps in the data from the device, then its possible something wrong with the device/network. Otherwise, might be a problem with cacti...
