Cactid Errors [NOT solved]

After running fine for 72 hours; it happened again...

Once again, the poller randomly hangs during the polling process; never finishing. No errors appear in a DEBUG set logfile.

The only fix to this has been to increase the number of pollers I am running from 4 to 10 (using cactid)

Upon moving to 10 pollers, I found that none of the pollers would hang, and the poller process would complete normally.

Are you talking about 10 cactid processes or 10 threads or 10 php_servers?

I was running 4 cactid poller process's with 20 threads each and had all my problems.

I switched to running 10 cactid poller process's with 10 threads each and so far; my problems have not returned.

Where did you find that error message? Can you please try the SVN version posted here. You will need to compile it.
