I just have installed cacti on a linux server but when I want to see the graphs, I just see small white square with red star (file not found...)

A few things:
Check and make sure the permissions are correct on the 'rra/' and 'log/' directories. Are there any files showing up in 'rra/'?
Make sure the entry is correct in your crontab file.
Both of these items are covered in the install file, if you need need any additional help on something more specific, I would be glad to help.
