Yeah, I have a router on each side, here's a quick example of what I have.
DSL Router -- FireWall -- 3Com Switch -- Cisco Router -- -- -- Cisco Router -- 3Com Switch
So I have a Router and a Switch paired up at each location. Without the router in place, I'm not sure that MacTrack works right? That's what I gleaned from a previous post.

I am planning on v1.0 of MacTrack and have made some changes this evening. If you have a feature request you would like to include in the next version, make sure you add it to the following topic.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

Following on from this, we ended up adding a Cisco router to our network, which then kick started the whole process.
One thing though, I can get mactrack to identify MACs now, but not to match IPs against them. An SNMPwalk using standard MIBs doesn't actually show this information, but it is available via the www interface, so I'm guessing its hidden in there somewhere..
I'm also guessing that mactrack runs a walk against a standard OID to gather this? Any idea which ? (Is this where the scripts come into mactrack?)

With out modification MacTrack needs a router and then walks the ARP table to get MAC to IP associations. If the router servicing this site does not have a standard ARP table, I have given you the option to define a customer IP scanning function per device type now.
