limiting snmp views (securing snmp)
I currently have a very minimalistic snmp configuration allowing just about anyone on our network to view anything using the communityname public. I would like to secure things a bit, but with the least possible effort... :) Is there a way to limit snmpwalk so that it returns everything apart from s...

I finally managed to get io-wait which was consistant enough to judge from the averige, it definatly does need to be divided. Would you be so kind to upload what you did to add IO wait? Thanks! For some reason IO-Wait was vanishing when it went over ~20%, so on the long run it did not work very wel...

Probably best place to look is on vmware's home page? They have had a lot of virtuals there, and you can search based on the application.

cached memory not graphing
I have a RHEL 4 host with 32GB of memory, and it's being graphed using the UCD/NET template. Everything seems fine apart from the cached memory (granted, the maximum free memory I've had till now is 2GB). I was looking on the host yesterday, and there was over 12GB cached memory, cacti was showing N...

Problem with 64bit counters
I'm graphing alot of Linux hosts running RHEL 3 & 4 or Centos using Cacti 0.8.6i. Graphing interfaces with 32bit counters works fine, but using 64-bit counters results with empty graphs (nan) and the following in my logs: 03/14/2007 03:35:52 PM - CMDPHP: Poller[0] Host[70] DS[904] SNMP: v2: disc...

network not allways graphing
I've been having problems graphing network usage on some Linux hosts. I think the main key is that hosts with more then one ip-address bound to an interface are not graphing network usage. Does this make any sence?
