I have the same problem as ymartin59, and so I've been following this thread pretty closely. I reverted to the 8.6h version of poller.php and /lib/poller.php and kept the rest 8.6i, but it didn't fix the problem for me either. At least with me, the problem comes from the poller saying it updates the...

Nope. It still doesn't work. Some graphs look fine but others are still graphing intermittently. In another thread, someone suggested reverting back to 8.6h, which I'll try next unless I hear a better ideas from you guys.

If this turns out to be a bug, what do I have to do to file a bug report?

Ok, I'm using: <path_cacti>/poller.php <path_cacti>/lib/poller.php from 8.6h. Everything else is 8.6i, including cactid. So far it doesn't look like it solved the problem, but I'll let it run overnight just to make sure. What's weird is that log, you see stuff like this: 11/30/2006 10:32:04 PM - POL...

Just to be clear, by backing out you want me to try using <path_cacti>/poller.php <path_cacti>/lib/poller.php from 0.8.6h and leave the rest from 0.8.6i right? I'm assuming this will be compatible with my current 0.8.6i cacti database (I can't remember if there was any differences in the database st...

NaN Debugging

I read the NaN guide before I initially posted, and I'm afraid it doesn't solve the problem. I've been following this thread which seems to be having the same trouble as I am: http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=17451&highlight=rrd The suggestion there is to revert back to cacti 8.6h, but I ...

I'm having the same problem.

I'm having the same problem. I've referenced this thread in my thread here:
http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?p=84247

Hope we can get this figured out.

First off, it looks like this person is having the exact same problem as I am: http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=17451&highlight=rrd But to answer your questions: Only one cron running: # ps -A | grep cron 531 ?? Is 0:01.25 /usr/sbin/cron -s 19305 p1 R+ 0:00.00 grep cron Here's the last co...

patched and edited

Thanks for responding so fast. I patched the files and changed line 240 on lib/poller.php from

limit 10000
to
$limit

I'm going to let the poller run overnight, and I'll let you know what happens.

cacti 0.8.6i graphing intermittendly

Ever since I added a lot of graphs, I noticed that cacti will only graph intermittently (see attached) for some of my graphs. Any idea why this would be? Here's the info your looking for: cacti/cactid 0.8.6i FreeBSD 6.1 PHP 5.2.0 php.ini: memory_limit = 80M end of cacti.log: 11/18/2006 02:24:06 PM -...

index_order ignores valid ifAlias

For some reason, my data source always choses ifIndex as its Index Type even when there is a valid ifAlias. Here's my interface.xml: <name>Get SNMP Interfaces</name> <description>Queries a host for a list of monitorable interfaces</description> <oid_index>.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1</oid_index> <oid_num_in...
