I see that this is going to be fixed in version k but is there a fix for version j?

I found this and was wondering if this same issue could be the cause of my problems. I didn't notice a fix for the current version of cacti but i did notice it would be fixed in the next version. Is there a fix for the current version?

Even though fast poller was removed nothing has changed.

I disabled it and re ran the poller command

Is that the problem? I can disable it if it is. It came with the setup of cacti that i'm using. "CactiEZ"

I attached the two files using "php -q cmd.php 7 7"
I ran it twice.

I use cmd.php
I cleared the log and ran php -q cmd.php 7 186
7 being the device id and 186 being the data source id
nothing went into the log file that even looks like it came from the device.

Thold is not creating Tholds for battery charge totals. I created the thold template and when i went into the new graph and clicked auto-create Thresholds it would not apply to the device. Any suggestions?

I just tried something screwy. Added a fake email address to the end. I started getting alterts.

Mine's doing somewhat of the same thing. The second e-mail will receive the host down alerts but any other tholds i have set up it never receives. i just got done with an issue like this. Check your php.ini file and see how much memory you are using. Mine was set to the default of 8mb... i raised it to 256mb.

"memory_limit = 256M"

Any idea why thold wont work with this? I'm setting a templete to monitor the battery charge and it will not even apply to the device.

The data appears to be going to the rrd files but its not dumping out of the poller_output table and its not graphing. Any ideas?

Its not going to the rrd files but if you delete them it creates them.
