i think there's no problem with the different types of devices because my solution is: with "arpwatch" i get all ip/mac correspondences (from all devices of my network) i put it in mac_track_ips of course there are many ip/mac addresses that are unuseful (i do it in get_arp_ip_ranges funct...

i solved the poblem by changing the code
as i remember i replace mac track method by my code using arpwatch

hello all, i just installed mac track plugin on cacti and everything work well but i have, for my devices about 200 mac address but only less than 10 ip adresses (see the attachment) so lot of my mac address aren't associated to an ip address i would like to know if it is normal and if it's not how ...

hi i looked at my graphs to see if i've got the same problem and i have but i see that i only have my 'true maximum' for 5 minutes and if i go back to the graph (without zoom) the maximum value is 'the false' i'm not professional but i think when there's a too little spike cacti doesn't take care of...

i would like to precise that :

to add my graphs in cacti i manipled the database
i didn't used the cacti interface

so it is possible that in the interface there's a submit button which make cacti create the graph
