My goal is to have the remote old cacti updated as well, but I've no idea how to move the monitored remote deviced to the central cacti installation and let then the remote cacti only as poller. a sort of backup->restore into an existing installation. Si...

Re: Suggested Upgrade Procedure

Sorry, another question. Do you have suggestions, after upgrading the old cacti, on how to move those data into the existing installation and have the old server as poller? The architecture actually is: Standalone server A updated with devices configured and local spine poller Standalone server B (n...

Re: Suggested Upgrade Procedure

Thanks a lot, I'll give a look there.
I'll start as well with a new fresh server. Only to know how to deal with the old version.
Thanks Jeeves!

Suggested Upgrade Procedure

Hi all, I've a cact installation fresh updated to version 1.2.9. Then I've a second standalone installation on a DMZ with version 0.8.7g. The second installation could not be updated easly because it's on an old server. In addition, the server is in a particular network to monitor some network devic...

Thanks.
Posted there and resolved.
Long time ago since my last post in this forum. Had no idea the support was moved on github.

Thanks for pointing me there.

Have a nice day.

Re: Variables not applied in graph name

Hi, no ideas?

It becomes difficult to search for new created graphs.
If I try to make, "reapply suggested names", then the titel seems become resetted with variable name instead og fariable value

Thanks, Simon

Variables not applied in graph name

Hello, I've updated cacti from 1.1.6 to 1.1.38. After the update, the graph names for new created graphs are not replaced with variables. Instead all are called: "|host_description| - Traffic - |query_ifAlias|". If I edit the graph, I can see correctly the variables applied to the graph im...

Plugin for simple PDF export on CACTI1.0

Hello, Is there a plugin on cacti1.x where I can simply print the selected three or graph detail in PDF? If I'm not wrong it was done by 'NmidCreatePDF' on 0.8x. I've seen there is CereusReporting but seems not to work with cacti1.0 and what I need is on demand very basis pdf generation. thanks, Simon

Timezone issue?

Hello, I'm migrating to Cacti 1.0. I've noticed the graph shows by default the GMT timezone even if I'm on GMT+2. I.e. in the "Time Graph View" it shows the correct data but the "From-To" times are shifted. Where to set it? I've already used the 'mysql_tzinfo_to_sql /usr/share/zo...
