Re: Automatic refresh of webpage will not work - Weathermap Cacti1.x

The problem was solved already within topic "weathermap 098a_cacti1.x_updated Page refresh issue" :) I was not aware that my problem was similar to the solved problem but the solution, described in "weathermap 098a_cacti1.x_updated Page refresh issue", works for me too. Sorry for...

[Solved]: Automatic refresh of webpage will not work - Weathermap Cacti1.x

I'm using Cacti 1.2.11 and had installed the Weathermap-Plugin provided by phalek (Very great, thank you phalek for adapting weathermap to Cacti 1.x ... :D ) I had defined some Maps which will all work without any problem. Only one issue is not working and I do not know the reason why. Maybe someone...

Re: Correct CDEFs in Aggregate Graph

You can try to define a CDEF like this:

1st CDEF:
a,b+,c+,d+ which will give you the Total of A,B,C,D

2nd CDEF:
e,f,+,g,+,h,+ gives you the Total of E,F,G,H

or all together:
a,b,+,c,+,d,+,e,+,f,+,g,+,h,+

Re: graphs aren't matching rrd LAST, not even close

And the device, which is assigned to your DataSource, is the same on which you are running snmpwalk manually?

Re: All devices graph empty for a certain period of time

What about an PING which is running continously to check if the IP-connection between Cacti and the "External World" is available without interruption?
Maybe it's not an issue of Cacti / Poller :-)

Re: graphs aren't matching rrd LAST, not even close

Hmm, looks all fine. One thing is confusing to me: I understand, in your first post, that you are capturing your data inside "rrdtool lastupdate /path/to/cacti/rra/mydevice_snmp_oid_555.rrd" Your graph, in your last post, was retrieving his data out of "... /srv/www/cacti/rra/________...

Re: graphs aren't matching rrd LAST

Can you share the Debug - Information of this graph?
Maybe this will give more background information for troubleshooting.

Re: Confused as to why two values in this template are backwards

Yes, agreed with Witness. I seems you are not using only one template for your servers. Maybe you selected a different Template for your second server?
If you are using two Templates and you will stay on two Templates: it might be an idea to validate the configuration of both Templates.

Re: Need help to define a REGEXP - locate a SubString

Yes, I agree: regex101.com is a very nice tool I used it also to find a matching Expression for my needs .. but the REGEXP tested with regex101.com and also the results out of direct tests with php (as mentioned above) had not provided the result used as VALUE\REGEXP in Cacti. This is still a miracl...

Re: Need help to define a REGEXP - locate a SubString

Dear tertius, this was a godd suggestion. It is working and I can use it. I can get the string which is in between the "." and the right end of the String. Thank you. But I do not understand the VALUE/REGEXP in general  .... after some search I found (I hope I'm on the right way) that...

Re: Confused as to why two values in this template are backwards

Both of the last two Posts should provide the same results  Maybe it makes sense to start with one Value as Area and three values as Lines. Only a CDEF which does the calculation '* 1024' Then compare the Current-Values with the Values shown in "top". If these values will match do so...

Re: Confused as to why two values in this template are backwards

To me this calculation is not clear (I'm not an expert in CDEF): Values collected: a=mem_buffers b=mem_cache c=mem_free d=memTotalReal Is this the correct Calculation to get Memory Used? Memory Used = c,a,b,-,+,1024,* = (c + (a-b)) * 1024 The values on the Graph did not match with the values from &q...
