Hi all,

Just wrote a brief Cacti tutorial for newbie network adminstrators like me.

I got it fixed.

I added , "zone-statistics yes;" to the named.conf and now its working.

Guess , the bind module was looking for more details from the stats file ... causing snmpd to freeze.

I got Bind9-stats working for two rh 9 servers . But in a CentOS 4.3 server , adding -- pass_persist .1.3.6.1.4.1.8767.2.1 /etc/snmp/bind9-snmp-stats.pl -- line to snmpd.conf freezes the snmpd. It stops responding , though the process is running . Once I remove the line , and restart snmpd , it star...
