Can't access web site / can't ping out
Hi, I'm having an issue (not sure for how long). I'm running Cacti in a MS VM, have been for several years. Recently I tried to log in to the gui via browser, and it's not working, however I can SSH. I can ping the IP that Cacti is running on (CentOS) However, when I log in to Cacti via root (VM scr...

Re: ESXi 6.0.0 and Vcenter Server 6.0r3 monitoring in Cacti
I installed on a per-host basis. Cacti isn't aware if the host is physical or virtual. Yup I know, sorry I wasn't clear. When you are polling for this info, are you polling the vCenter appliance (IP) or the ESXi host IP? I just assumed that since vCenter knows what's happening in the cluster (2,3,4...

Re: ESXi 6.0.0 and Vcenter Server 6.0r3 monitoring in Cacti
Can someone tell me if the ESXi host graph works with vCenter appliance 6.5.0? I've implemented this and all I see is 0 for everything for that graph. Would appreciate some help. Other things work, CPU, users, processes, users, used space, etc.. just nothing on the ESXi vHosts graph... running Vers...

Re: Help with Cacti [EZ 0.6] - it just barfed on me, what to
I was getting an error [Duplicate entry 'xxxx' for key 1] and after searching I found the following: http://gregsowell.com/?p=3122 I followed the advice here there, and now Cacti is VERY responsive and quick, as before. However, now none of the graphs are being updated not sure what I need to do... ...

Re: Help with Cacti [EZ 0.6] - it just barfed on me, what to
I tried these two commands, but it didn't seem to fix anything.. mysqlcheck --auto-repair --databases syslog mysqlcheck --auto-repair --databases cacti The error message I was seeing (syslog related) dissapeared, but the graphs still not working. I have to mention, that response from Cacti (web or s...

Hi all, I've installed CactiEZ 0.6 (32bit) because the MB on the system I have doesn't support the 64bit VM extensions (even though the proc does), to the current CactiEZ isn't supported (bummer). I'm running in under Win7 in Virtual PC, in a VM. Everything installed and has been running great, unti...

I've tried to follow the instructions to get this working as well. Running on Win7. Cacti 0.8.7c Installed SNMP on Win7; this is working fine. Installed latest free Informant (v1.7 std) Downloaded Informant templates v13,12,11,10,9 etc.. Trying to import template(s), I get "Error: XML: Hash ver...

Nope, this is not a normal graph. Who knows maybe you have the same problem that i posted recently. http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?p=258530#p258530 Here is the normal graph: http://s017.radikal.ru/i408/1510/7e/4832983a712a.png I can't get this to work no matter what I do. -I unzipped v 2.2 o...

Can you please post before and after, or at least what's changed?madman22 wrote:I just got this working on 0.8.8a by changing ss_fping.php
The problem seems to be from the function read_config_option()
Once i removed all reference to that function the script and graphs started working.

Re: Can I get a Template for Meraki MX devices?
It looks to be a permissions problem in your setup: http://forums.cacti.net/about22150.html Thank you sir! This helped me and I managed to get the graphs working. I'm just curious on this line (both for Mearkiout and MerDQ) I get this: " <oid_num_indexes> missing in XML file ". Is this no...

Thanks for the scripts and the work here. I have tried to implement however I'm getting the following error in the "Create Graphs for this host" Warning: file(/var/www/html/resource/snmp_queries/merakiout.xml): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /var/www/html/lib/data_query.php on...

Re: EDIT: Advanced Ping Template Version 1.3 for Cacti 0.8.6
I am still getting nothing on the graph. I added another host to monitor, which right now is timing out when I ping. Shouldn't the graph be all red when there 100% packet loss (i.e. Request Timed Out from the command line)? Still can't get the ping to work in Cacti... ugh.. Not really sure how to tr...

OID for Non Standard Port and community SNMP [Meraki]
Hi all, tried to search for this but came up empty; although I'm sure at some point others have had this need. I would like to poll a single OID on a Meraki device. However, the community name is not public, and the port is non-standard. In order to get certain data for Meraki devices, one must poll...
