Re: Unable to export to csv certain graphs
Please select the wrench next to that graph and post the whole rrdtool statement R. My apologies for the delayed response. /usr/bin/rrdtool graph - \ --imgformat=PNG \ --start=-86400 \ --end=-300 \ --title='<removed> - IP mapping' \ --base=1000 \ --height=120 \ --width=500 \ --alt-autoscale-max \ -...

Unable to export to csv certain graphs
I have a problem with a specific kind of graph. This used to work before we upgraded to the latest and great version of cacti. Cacti specific information found below. For the most part export to csv works fine. However on this specific graph template it never works. It will always return no data. Th...

Thold not creating thresholds
All, I recently upgraded my Cacti installation. From my base cacti to updating all plugins. Everything is working correctly with the exception of Thold. Currently I am running Cacti Version: 0.8.7g, Plugin Architecture Version: 2.8. Thold Version 0.4.1 (I've also tried 0.4.2). Server info: /home/teb...

Oddness with script output
I'm having a weird issue with a custom script I wrote that pulls data for cacti. The data input looks good and so does the data/graph templates. This script just pulls a two digit number between 0 and 100 (it's a percent). But cacti seems to plot a random number or just ends up plotting zero. I thin...

My advice.. return the fortinet and buy a real firewall such as a juniper 8) But since you've already bought it SNMP must be configured as an allowed service on that interface (and policy if you're going THROUGH the firewall first) You also need to permit the subnet to be able to manage the device. ...

It would look to me like some of the cacti mysql processes are hanging. How long do they stick around for? (ie: Process 772270 has been around for 300+ seconds) Can you do a 'netstat -atunpo|grep 3306' as well? Thanks for your help Linegod, we continued to troubleshoot it and found there to be a ha...

It just doesn't seem like a DB issue to me from looking at your info, but if you could attach the output of 'show processlist;' from a mysql prompt when this issue is happening, it may help. Welcome to the MySQL monitor. Commands end with ; or \g. Your MySQL connection id is 850932 Server version: 5...

And there is nothing _external_ that could be causing an issue? Firewall? Proxy? And I know you are saying 'nothing abnormal', but are the load and processes what you would expect? No firewall or proxy. It appears to be on the box itself sadly.. Load and processes look normal when comparing it hist...

In my case my entire rra directory is chmod'd 0777. So completely world readable and world writable. The error I received was above. The httpd user must have rw to the RRDfiles. Without it, this plugin will not work. However, I could setup a command like RRDClean, but you would likely not see the re...
