Re: Graphs in Cacti are not updating with new data
For the benefit of anyone else who might read this post that is also having this problem... I set up logrotate to handle the cacti.log file and switched Cacti back to using "Logfile Only." The manual tests with poller.php worked and did not produce errors! So then, of course, I was able to...

Re: Graphs in Cacti are not updating with new data
In the settings I found a place to change the log file destination from "Logfile Only" to "Syslog/Eventlog Only." I switched this as a test... and now the poller.php command behaves differently... I see a consant ouput scrolling on the screen. Below is a sample. It looks like a b...

Re: Graphs in Cacti are not updating with new data
I see that my cacti.log file is 2.0 GB in size (and has no entries since 8 Jul 2014). Is that the file the error is referring to? If so, what is the proper way to shrink this log?

Re: Graphs in Cacti are not updating with new data
Ah yes, thank you. I ran this:
root@nycvm10:/home/httpd/cacti # sudo php poller.php
[1] 18678 file size limit exceeded sudo php poller.php
Does this mean some file reached its max size and needs to be purged/adjusted in some way? Maybe that's why things stopped working last year?

Re: Graphs in Cacti are not updating with new data
This is running on linux. Where do I find Plugin Management? I've clicked through the various tabs and am not seeing that anywhere. Also, I do not see a cronjob for poller.php but I can set it up. How often should it run? And what user should it run as? The box does have a cactiuser account, or is t...

Graphs in Cacti are not updating with new data
Hello, I am new to Cacti and am trying to troubleshoot an existing implementation. This implementation worked in the past but the person who used to manage it is no longer with the company... so I have stepped in and realized right off the bat that the data has not been graphed. Here's what I've fou...
