Hmm.. alright, I will give it another try then.
Does it require a switch to tell cacti what IP addresses are assigned to which MAC addresses? I tried to configure it independent on the DHCP network and it never seems to poll the devices and find them. Apologies, I'm a bit of a noob with cacti.

Monitoring Clients running DHCP
I have Cacti running smoothly and its pretty awesome for our purpose, but the devices I am monitoring are jumping IP addresses on a DHCP network.. Therefore every time the lease expires, Cacti generates a new graph for the same device. Has anyone written any scripts to check new devices against prev...

Re: Mac track not loading correctly.
Sorry I'm a noob, not sure what you mean.
Edit:
I'm an idiot, I figured out what you meant:
Working now, Thank you very much. It would be very helpful if that was listed as part of the installation. Maybe I'm the only one that missed that though.

Re: Mac track not loading correctly.
Permissions are at -0755 and owner is root. Same as all of the other plugins that are working.

I downloaded version 2.9.1 and un tarred into the plugins directory and ran the install links on PIA 3...

Re: Looking for a Developer
I think I may have figured out Discovery. Quite a neat plugin, and does a lot more than I first assumed. I'll keep toying. Thanks.

Re: Looking for a Developer
To be fair to all i'm a complete Noob and only have limited Linux experience (Simple command structures and configs), I've mostly toyed with Arduinos for small board prototyping in the past, just digging into some of the more in depth and interesting work that can be done on a Pi. Also my formal tra...

Looking for a Developer
Not sure if this is an acceptable place to ask for this. So please correct me if I should post elsewhere. I'm looking for a developer to consult with on a project I am working on. This would be a project for hire and include a derivation of cacti on a Raspberry Pi device for a small customer. The pr...
