I've found the solution by using my modified php script (see previous post) and using the basic template in the start post of this topic.

When you get results by runnig the script through the command line, you should be able to get stats in cacti by using the correct template.

At 5.2.0 I've got the same problem. Really. I'm using 5.2.0 and cacti 0.8.6j with no problems. How did you upgrade to cacti 0.8.6j? Sure you're running cacti 0.8.6j? Click on the cacti icon once logged on as admin and look what version it says. From the command prompt type: php -v. What version of ...

Got exact the same problem over here... But I believe I had the same problem with upgrading from PHP 5.1.6. to PHP 5.2.0. So I think I'll stick at my current 5.1.6. version. This is what my logfile says: The PHP Script: CMD.PHP Must be started using the full path to the file and in lower case. This ...

That sockets message comes from PHP. In your php.ini uncomment the next line: #extension=php_sockets.dll This will fix the sockets problem... The other warnings: The scripts deliver an other output or an invalid output than the data source expects to get, (I believe that's it). If you run the script...
