Data Source Host Mappings

We are using Cacti to graph many things successfully including gathering statistical data from Cisco Content Services Modules. Two of these modules are in Active/Standby mode with each residing in a separate 6500-series chassis. We've had to perform a couple of failovers over the last couple of mont...

Aggregate 8 Sources - Graphing Incorrectly

I downloaded and deployed the Aggregate template for 4 data sources and it appears to have worked correctly. So I took the template, copied it, and modified the new template to accomodate 8 data sources. I also had a previous configuration that was manually setup to graph 7 individual interfaces and...

Graph Item Sequence

My apologies if this has been asked & answered before - a quick search resulted in no answers for me... :( Anyway, I am in the process of adding new item entries to a pre-existing graph. This graph is basically a combination of multiple interfaces on switches displaying the current/avg/max of th...

Yup - that was it, the counters were wrapping. I went to 64-bit counters and it seems to be working.

POS Interfaces on Cisco Router - Graph Incorrect

We have a couple of Cisco 7204VXR routers connecting to OC3 circuits via POS interfaces. These interfaces are automatically set to max out at 155Mbps by the Cacti template. Believe it or not, we are currently reaching points where one of these circuits reaches max capacity (we're gonna replace it wi...

Unable to launch Cacti after initial install

My apologies if this problem is addressed elsewhere - my brief search gave me little results for this problem. Please point me in the right direction if there is a solution or discussion already in place. I just completed a new install of Cacti 0.8.6i on a Solaris 9 system. After a few hiccups with ...
